      Mansion Burrowlee in Owlerton, built in 1711 - an architectural monument of Sheffield. First, he belonged to the family of the local landowner Thomas Steed. It was one of the first houses in the city, made entirely of brick. In the course of several reconstructions managed to preserve the original appearance of the building.

      Its elegant two-story façade has a rectangular plan with an apse and a prime example of Georgian style. Portal of the building contains a semicircular pediment with little stucco finish and antique lanterns on either side of the main entrance. The construction of stone topped by a characteristic balyustraday that contains relief compositions. Around the perimeter of rectangular windows are arranged, which differ in size and shape.

      Currently the house is renovated and used as an office center in Sheffield Education Committee.
