Tower scrub is west of Newtownards in County Down, Northern Ireland. It was built to perpetuate the memory of Charles Stewart, 3. Marquess of Londonderry.

Charles Stuart, also known as the Battle Charlie was one of the generals of the Duke of Wellington during the war with Napoleon, and therefore was a symbolic figure for the people of Britain. Memorial Tower was built in 1857, designed by the English architect Charles Lanyon on the same hill scrub.

Tower surrounds the local park, and the way to it is through a grove of walnut. The architectural style of the building - a minimalistic and even to some extent strict - Shpileobraznoe building made of dark gray stone, reminiscent of heavy for the British times, in perfect harmony the landscape of green hills and ancient boulders.

Now scrub Tower is open for free access, and tourists can not only touch the history, but also enjoy the stunning views, bypassing rise to 122 degrees. Untouched nature and color of ancient towers like transport visitors to many years ago, forcing to forget about the hustle and bustle of big cities.
